E.G. Cunningham is the author of Apologetics (2016) and Ex Domestica (2017). Her poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction have appeared in or are forthcoming from Barrow Street, Colorado Review, Fugue, Litro Magazine, The Nation, Poetry London, The Poetry Review, and other publications. She received the 2017 LUMINA Nonfiction Award for her essay "The Exedra." She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Georgia. Her interests include poetics, the lyric, psychoanalytic theory, 20th century British, Irish, and American Literature, trauma theory, Literature of the Shoah, and hybrid texts. She teaches at the University of California, Merced.
